Orcas Island Chapel

ChrisRay and Marcus like to work on personal projects in order to keep up their skills. In 2016, they flew to Orcas Island in Washington state to do a full building remodel of a 100 year old settler’s cabin.

This beautiful house, once used as a ‘drinking chapel’ by a spiritual group during prohibition, had fallen into disrepair and was in need of a major facelift.

Working with the Outlook Inn and Erin Johnson, a former employee of One Hat One Hand, ChrisRay and Marcus transformed this cabin into a rustic chapel and whiskey bar just in time for Erin’s wedding.
