Kota Ezawa

Kota Ezawa, a Japanese-German artist and educator based in the Bay Area, was awarded a grant by the SF Public Art commission to create a monumental mural in his signature style for the San Francisco Airport. The artwork recreates the famous photo of the Beatles exiting their jet, arriving in America for the first time. Kota approached One Hat One Hand to help him bring this huge project to life.

One Hat One Hand was tasked with enlarging this design into a 30ft wide dimensional mural. You can see it now in the International Terminal at San Francisco International Airport.
