From the beginning of his career, he learned to live by and practice the principles of craftsmanship through working with world-class artists and builders on global projects. This core set of principles is applied daily at One Hat One Hand. Every project moves through our studios with greater value added by his experience, direction, expertise and enthusiasm.

As Chief Operating Officer, he helps build and deepen our client relationships through precise program management, vendor communication and collaboration. ChrisRay works tirelessly to create unique experiences for clientele in locations ranging from public spaces to commercial environments, placemaking and outdoor environments. His 15 years in construction as a professional General Contractor allow our clients to select One Hat One Hand to partner as a world-class, highly specialized subcontractor.

Every day you’ll find him managing our millworks, Metal Fabrication, Digital Fabrication and Finishing departments, teaching and learning with our expert production team. In co-founding and stewarding One Hat One Hand, Chrisray leads by example, leveraging the opportunities with a mix of experience and improvisation while frequently reminding us that all projects are possible when you have the right attitude and energy.
